Enquiries and confirmation
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve dates. A booking exists only when the owners confirm it in writing after the quotation’s stated requirements have been met.
Rates and payment
The quotation supplied by the owners will state the rate, deposit, balance deadline and accepted payment method. Never make payment to changed banking details without confirming them directly with Suzette or Gielie using the telephone numbers published on this website.
Occupancy
The cottage accommodates no more than six guests. The number of adults and children must be disclosed accurately. Visitors and events require prior written approval.
Cancellations and refunds
The cancellation, date-change and refund conditions in the accepted quotation apply to the booking.
Check-in, check-out and access
Times and private arrival instructions are supplied with booking confirmation. Gate codes or access information must not be shared publicly.
Guest responsibilities
Guests must follow farm, dam, fire and braai rules; actively supervise children; respect neighbours, livestock, crops and restricted areas; and report damage promptly. Pets are not permitted.
Off-grid conditions
The cottage is an authentic off-grid stay without conventional mains electricity, television or a fixed telephone. Rural utilities, roads and mobile reception may be variable.
